Introduction

     I am Rebekka Kuschmierz, I am in the Business Fundamentals program at Conestoga College and for the next few months, I will be posting on this blog things I've learned about marketing and important and interesting things that were taught in class. What I hope to get out of this course is a deeper understanding of what marketing really is and how it affects our everyday life because I want to potentially continue on with marketing as my career. Three important things I will do- to the best of my ability- to be successful in this course are: 

1. Show up to every class and participate in all activities 
2. Complete all quizzes and assignments well in advance of their deadlines
3. Study and understand the material I have been taught

The most important thing I learned about marketing this week is that you must always have a target market when marketing a new product because no product is ever marketed towards everybody. It is important to know and learn about the group of consumers that are most likely to buy your product.
